About Us
The office of the staff judge advocate provides full-spectrum legal services that support the entire Tyndall Community and its mission. The legal office also provides other decision-makers at all levels with advice and recommendations needed to best evaluate options and properly resolve complex issues. In addition to communicating legal information through authoritative counsel, the legal office provides valuable and responsive programs such as legal and income tax assistance, notary service, with preparation, and legal training on a variety of subjects. These programs help Team Tyndall members and their families resolve legal problems so they can focus on their responsibilities and the mission.
Attorney, paralegals, and other staff members are available to provide assistance to military personnel, active duty and retired, and their dependents possessing a valid Armed Forces identification card. Legal assistance includes advice on domestic relations, adoption, real property, leases, taxation, creditor’s rights, estates, powers of attorney, bill of sale and numerous other matters of a personal civil legal nature.
Our one-day will service delivers a fully executed will in approximately two hours. Wills are prepared on Tuesday and Thursday by appointment only. Clients desiring wills are encouraged to contact the base legal office, bldg 662, for a will worksheet before the day of their appointment. Call the legal office to schedule an appointment or to check on the specific times when services are available. Notary service and power s of attorney are available Monday – Friday, 0730 to 1630.
